Retail Parks space to lease
Warehouse & office space for lease in Multipark (SBU)
LCP Poland, part of M Core, one of the leading investors and developers in the Polish retail park market, has finalised the acquisition of Galeria Chełm from Equilis and Acteeum. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. Through this acquisition, LCP Poland's portfolio will grow by more than 17,000 sq m of retail space and 55 tenants. In the coming months, the property will undergo a series of changes aimed at aligning it with M Core's standards and strategy. These will include a refresh of the visual identity, rebranding, and a subtle name change through the addition of the "M" prefix – the property will operate as M Galeria Chełm.
Jointly built by Equilis and Acteeum and opened in 2020, Galeria Chełm is a fully let shopping centre located at the intersection of Lubelska and Rejowiecka streets – by one of the city's key transport hubs. The property offers a spacious car park with 509 spaces for customers and holds a BREEAM Very Good certification, confirming the use of solutions supporting energy efficiency and sustainable development.
The shopping centre is home to 55 tenants, including such well-known brands as Lidl, Reserved, Sinsay, Rossmann, Hebe, CCC, RTV Euro AGD, Martes Sport, Smyk, Rituals and New Yorker, among many others.
Following the acquisition, the new owner will begin the process of aligning the property with its standards and marketing strategy. In line with the adopted approach, all retail parks in the LCP portfolio operate under the M Park brand. Other retail assets – including shopping centres and so-called stand-alone properties – receive the "M" prefix, reinforcing their affiliation with LCP's retail platform. An example of this approach is M EMKA in Koszalin, and soon M Galeria Chełm as well. The subtle name change of the property will be accompanied by a broader update to the Centre's visual identity – its logo will be adapted to the standards and formats applied across properties in the LCP portfolio.
