EMKA is a woman

On March 8, we’ve opened the second phase of the EMKA Shopping Centre.
The existing offer will be enriched with an entertainment and sports function, and the complex itself will now operate under the new brand M EMKA.

In September 2020, with the assistance and support of City Mayor Piotr Jedlinski, as well as the City Council, Galeria Emka received the legal construction permit, which was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first construction work of M EMKA began in October 2021, and the official opening will take place on March 8 this year. MIRBUD S.A has been appointed as the main contractor.

The new part of the Shopping Mall is a two-story building with an area of nearly 10,000 sq.m., which has been integrated with the Centre through a corridor to facilitate the transition to the restaurant area in the older part of EMKA project. The entire complex now includes more than 70 stores of Polish and foreign brands, a Helios Cinema, a Just Gym and will offer as 850 parking spaces.

At the same time as the opening of the retail park, the mall will be rebranded, and the entire complex will now operate under the new name M EMKA.

In addition to the well-known network brands to customers, M EMKA has welcomed new tenants such as a cinema, a fitness center, international retail store JYSK, HalfPrice - a store full of stylish clothes, shoes, cosmetics and home goods, pet store Zoo Karina and a PKO bank branch.

M EMKA is owned by LCP Properties, a company that is part of M Core - a highly profitable group of family-owned real estate and investment management companies, one of the largest owners of retail parks and convenience shopping centers in the UK and Poland. Hence, the name change from Galeria Emka to M EMKA.

Commercialization support of the M EMKA shopping complex was handled by Sierra Balmain, LCP Properties entrusted the creation of the conceptual design to the VSF - Creative Commercial studio, the Project Manager was PGOM, and the General Contractor was the MIRBUD S. A company.

The Helios cinema with several projection rooms, including two premium rooms, is scheduled to open in the first week of April, and the JustGym will be opened 2 weeks later.
